MasterLok-90 Structural Standing Seam Roof Systems from McElroy Metal represent the finest in a structural standing seam system. Proven by stringent UL-90 wind uplift testing, MasterLok-90 systems offer the ultimate in strength, weather ability and wind resistance. Designed for simplicity of installation, MasterLok-90's proven snap-together locking system allows panels to be installed on either side of the roof simultaneously, from one end of the building to the other. To ensure total weather tight integrity for slopes as low as 1/4:12, MasterLok-90 panels incorporate full 3" high standing seams complete with factory-applied sealant. In addition, all penetrations are made outside the building envelope. Endlaps, when required, are tightly sealed using a compression connection.
McElroy Metal's Medallion-Lok Structural Standing Seam Roof System combines the style and beauty of an architectural product with the load handling characteristics of a structural roof system. Medaliion-Lok's design and structural capabilities, including UL -90 classification, make it equally well-suited for residential, commercial and industrial applications. Medallion-Lok is also an excellent choice for mansard or fascia. Panels are joined by an integral locking system and held in place by concealed metal clips. A bead of sealant is factory applied in Medallion-Lok's seam upon request. The Medallion-Lok System may be installed over solid decking. For installation over sub-framing, McElroy manufactures a complete line of substructural components. The Medallion-Lok System utilizes 24 gauge GALVALUME panels, available in McElroy Premium Kynar 500 colors. Standard panel width is 16". Other widths are available upon request. Medallion-Lok has been tested for air and water infiltration in accordance with ASTM E283 and ASTM E331-86 procedures. The use of a proper moisture barrier or adequate ventilation is required to prevent condensation. Minimum slope of 3:12 is recommended.
