Mega-Rib metal roofing panel is easily recognized by its distinctive profile.
Deep rib configurations provide optimum strength and maximum spanning capabilities. While the Mega-Rib design was intending to meet the demands of the industrial environment, design flexibility has made it a popular choice for architectural applications as well. Mega-Rib’s unique profile and high-strength characteristics also make it particularly well-suited for canopy projects. Mega-Rib has been tested in accordance with ASTM E1680 air infiltration, ASTM E1646 water infiltration and UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance testing. |

| 1) All calculations for properties
of panels are calculated in accordance with the 1986 Cold Formed Steel Manual
published by the American Iron and Steel Institure (AISI). 2) Wind loads and deflection loads are limited by a deflection of L/20. 3) Values shown are allowable loads and are based on panels covering three or more equal continues spans. Multiply values show by 0.8 for two (2) span conditions. 4) Allowable loads (deflection ) for wind shown have been increased by three 33 1/3% 5) For wind load stress only, multiply live load ( stress) by 1.33% 6) Weight of panels must be deducted from this Value to obtain net allowable load. |
